World Career Atlas helps people compare careers, salaries, education paths, employers and ratings across countries.
How we use data
World Career Atlas combines public data with reviewed user contributions to make career and education choices easier to understand. Public sources include national statistics offices, official salary tables, public labour-market releases, O*NET occupation data, education datasets, admissions information, employer registries and other open sources where their terms allow use.
The site is built by a small two-person team. We use public datasets as the baseline, keep source labels visible where they matter, and review user-submitted data before it can affect public pages. When submitted data is used publicly, it should be aggregated or anonymized. We do not sell submitted data.
Verification
Some submissions may ask for verification, such as a LinkedIn profile link. This is only used to help review the submission. Once the submission or rating has been handled, the verification link is removed from the review payload because keeping personal verification material creates unnecessary risk for users and for us.
Cookies and ads
Cookies are used to protect the quality of the site, mainly by limiting spam and repeated attempts to manipulate ratings. We may also use the page context, such as country, profession, education field or page type, to show more relevant ads.
Review integrity
Ratings are meant for people with relevant experience: employees, former employees, applicants, students or former students.
If a company, school or course suddenly receives many reviews in a short time, those reviews may be held back or removed automatically until they can be reviewed.
Contributing
Submissions and ratings may be checked automatically, reviewed manually, or marked as needing verification.
