Privacy and cookies
World Career Atlas is built to show useful career and education information without collecting more personal data than we need.
What data we use
The public parts of World Career Atlas are based on official statistics, open education datasets, open employer data and reviewed user contributions. We use this data to show salaries, professions, education paths, employers, ratings and comparison tools.
User contributions
When you submit a rating, salary observation, correction or missing data suggestion, we store the information needed to review it. Public pages should only use reviewed and anonymized contribution data. We do not sell submitted data.
Verification
Some submissions may ask for verification, such as a LinkedIn profile link. Verification is used to improve data quality and confirm that a contribution is connected to real experience. We want to keep as little personal verification material as possible and remove it when it is no longer needed for review.
Cookies
We use a small anonymous session cookie to reduce spam, repeated submissions and rating manipulation. Advertising or measurement cookies may also be used when the site is configured for them and the required consent flow is in place.
Ads
We may use page context, such as country, profession, school, employer or page type, to show more relevant ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve ads and measure ad performance. Users can manage or opt out of personalized Google ads through Google Ads Settings.
Review integrity
Reviews are intended for people with relevant experience, such as employees, former employees, applicants, students or former students. If a company, school or course receives unusual review activity in a short time, those reviews may be held back or removed until they can be checked.
