AssocDeg Occupational Health and Safety
This course is designed to prepare students for occupational health and safety roles at a paraprofessional level. The course equips students with knowledge and skills in ergonomics and human factors, and occupational health and safety management and is constantly updated in consultation with industry, ensuring students graduate with up-to-date skills and are work ready. Students will develop knowledge, attitudes, skills and initiatives in the safety science disciplines of ergonomics, human factors, accident investigation and occupational health and safety management. During this course, students will be provided opportunities to practically apply their learning, including participation in supervised worksite visits and will graduate with up-to-date skills and knowledge.
